Olive baboons

The olive baboon; Papio anubis, also called the Anubis baboon, is a member of the family Cercopithecidae. The species is the most most wide-ranging of all baboons, being found in 25 countries throughout Uganda, extending from Mali eastward to Ethiopia and Tanzania.

Isolated populations are also present in some mountainous regions of the Sahara.

It inhabits savannahs, steppes, and forests. The common name is derived from its coat colour, which is a shade of green-grey at a distance.

A variety of communications, vocal and non-vocal, facilitate a complex social structure. The olive baboon lives in groups of 15 to 150, made up of a few males, many females, and their young. Each baboon has a social ranking somewhere in the group, depending on its dominance.Female dominance is hereditary, with daughters having nearly the same rank as their mothers, and adult females forming the core of the social system.Female relatives form their own subgroups in the troop.Related females are largely friendly to each other.

They tend to stay close together and groom one another, and team up in aggressive encounters within the troop.Female kin form these strong bonds because they do not emigrate from their natal groups. Occasionally, groups may split up when they become so large that competition for resources is problematic, but even then, members of matrilines tend to stick together.

Dominant females procure more food, matings, and supporters. Among olive baboons high-ranking females give birth at shorter intervals to infants with a higher survival rate, and their daughters tend to mature faster than low-ranking females. These high-ranking females also appear to have a higher probability of miscarriages and some high-ranking matrilines have inexplicably low fertility.

One theory suggests this occurs due to stress on the high-ranking females, although this theory is controversial. A female often forms a long-lasting social relationship with a male in her troop, known as a "friendship".These nonsexual affiliative friendships benefit both the male and female.Males benefit from these relationships because they are usually formed soon after he immigrates into a new group, and helps the male integrate into the group more easily. He could also potentially end up mating with his female friend in the future.Females gain protection from threats to themselves and their infants (if they have any).Males occasionally "baby-sit" for their female friends, so she can feed and forage freely without the burden of having to carry or watch the infant.Sexually receptive females and newly immigrated males can form such friendships.

These relationships are sometimes enduring and the pair grooms and remains close to each other. They also travel, forage, sleep, and raise infants together, as well as fight together against aggressive conspecifics.

Rwenzori is certainly one of Africa's most fantastic natural environments. There's some of Africas glaciers remaining in the world on Mount Stanley, Speke and Baker and on the peak it can drop to minus 2 degrees Celsius during the day but at times at night freezing cold, then its good idea to bring everything needed incl. Maasai's shuka through the nights.

Investment - Uganda/ EAC

Can we succeed with investments, support services, BPO, CBT & ITES in Uganda, EAC? Today, Tuesday 07/09 K'okasemera Adventure has gathered our young business representatives in Fort Portal to look, negotiate, and hopefully develop some of the major business opportunities found within Support Services, BPO, CBT & ITES.

What is needed to succeed?

Uganda and EAC have the economy and business that promote the opportunities for local business this is all about setting up events - and cultural projects within CBT, BPO & ITES. It also includes the development of smarter logistics and better solutions to get to the tourist areas that we are strong at local level, here at home in the west. When local business opportunities start their involvement in Fort Portal as a tourist city, the interest will increase, and then it is important to note some important developments:

1. Africa's growth continues, in its latest review, the World Bank has downgraded growth in sub-Saharan Africa to 2.7% - from a 3.1% estimate in April 2019. Then again EAC is expected to grow 6.3% in 2019/2020. In order to be able to take part in this growth, we need meeting places such as www.kokasemeraadventures.com - and therefore important to maintain with interest.

2. Better leadership creates optimism In several African countries, the economic outlook is good. In Ethiopia, South Africa, Angola and Ghana, we see new leaders who will face the challenges of new policies. Countries of AU and EAC have negotiated a free trade agreement that can increase trade between African countries. This will also create more opportunities for CBT and local businesses, while at the same time demand will be greater than supply and this may increase interest for new investments, new job opportunities, and better foundings rather than assistance. That's good, because donation and aid alone does not solve the development challenges as we know them in Uganda and EAC.

3. Demographics and new technology It is estimated that there will be four billion people in Africa by the year 2100. It will be the world's youngest continent - and that which is most rapidly urbanized. Yes, seems to growing and that's a great opportunity, but also a challenge if CBT and new jobs fail. K'okasemera Adventures has a common interest in creating new opportunities with what we can offer from 4T Support Services and technological innovations: Through Digital Strategy for BPO, CBT & ITES, we are increasing our focus on the opportunities that innovation and digitalisation provide.

4. Competitiveness weakens Opportunities often come together with challenges. African countries have 17 of the 20 lowest places on the World Economic Forum's ranking of competitiveness. That is to say, the economic growth for Uganda keeps the growth only as close as possible to the population increase. If reforms to increase competitiveness are not implemented, both at local, regional and national level, local government will not be able to create new jobs needed in the next 20 years. K'okasamera Adventure, together with the local, regional, national and international investors and business institutions, will assist in developing BPO, CBT & ITES policy that facilitates job creation and predictable framework conditions.

5. Nature, culture, health and education are essential for the future of Uganda investment in human capital - skills and knowledge in nature, culture, health and education - becomes even more important when digitization and technology are changing known working life. If the demographic development of the EAC is to be a good one, and not a challenge, a youth force must be taken. K'okasemera Adventures' commitment to these areas is record-high and local business has a lot to contribute, not least through expertise at BPO, CBT & ITES.

6. Investors' interests - and the great opportunities It's Uganda, it's EAC that must take the lead in meeting its financial challenges. But in tourism we will work with them. It's not just good tourist / CBT policy, there is also good district policy and good business policy.

Half of the K'okasemera Adventures portfolio is in Western Uganda in key sectors such as nature, culture, health, education, logistics, finance and food, agriculture and local households. K'okasemera Adventure sets up a budget that will strengthen capital supply so that K'okasemera Adventure will be able to invest in new sustainable tourist destinations along with other investors and international investors have a lot to contribute in areas where Uganda has advantages - as nature and tourism industries and new technology: It is win-win for everyone, but most of all for our youth.

With East Africa’s steady growth as a tourism destination, world-class tourist facilities are a most urgent need. For the prospective investor, that means one thing: opportunity and with that K'okasemera Adventure are ready to assist your investments through 4T Support Services, BPO, CBT & ITES.

Africa Speaks

Don't let it go, don't turn your back on what you think you know ... beautiful Africa, beautiful melody, beautiful singing, Santana k'okasemera.

Should we be concerned if the AL- technology are compatible with CBT (community based tourism) and equality for Uganda?

Artificial intelligence change the way we live and relate to each other. In many ways, society we live in reflects on society at the same time and AL-technology constantly taking on several social tasks and defining social relation- ships via media.

Then we need to have a conscious relationship with development and prevent digital everyday life from manifesting inequalities that even tourists will make more visible.

The culture of telepathy, and the power of humanspirit stand strong and Ugandans are good about talking about almost any topic - love to talk about our own country (its past and current situation) and often as the primary means of communication for advanced neighbors and ancestors whose brains have thoughts, art, science, music and healing words.

K'okasemera Adventures many stories about the use of talking stones, UFO, and telepathic contact that may have som tourist interest and K'okasemera Adventures opens the way to a new understanding of our ability to survive through the drums and with mental telepathy, habits, customs, and with IQ-resonance.

Help us to bring more stories about artificial intelligence and AL technology that affect us all in every possible way, this requires great responsibility to pass on to next generations etc.
